We had heard that shopping was big in Dubai, it was even considered a sport by some, but we weren't prepared for the extent of this idea. I thought I had been to some big shopping centres until I reached Dubai Mall. I don't think you could walk around this place in one day. The Burj Khalifa building is located in the Dubai Mall so we spent a bit of time shopping before and after going up into the tallest building.
