Downing Kennels, Whitford, Wales
Our ancestors, the Kingsburys, lived at Downing Kennels in Whitford, Holywell (Wales) from about 1867 until at least 1881. We drove past this spot, which is still called Downing Kennels (think they house dogs) at Whitford.

Ysciefiog, Holywell, Wales
After driving down many narrow, narrow lanes and streets, we came across the small village of Ysciefiog where my great-grandfather, James Walter Kingsbury, was born in 1867.
Although I don't know exactly where the family were living, I've assumed they probably had something to do with the church at the top of the hill, St Mary's Church.
